Fridge began our partnership with TABASCO® Brand in 2018 as its website agency of record. TABASCO® Brand wanted to improve its website to offer users a better experience with engaging product education opportunities and a more modern design.

The Tabasco.com homepage did not accurately reflect the brand’s updated look, wasn’t easy to navigate and lacked an intuitive mobile experience. Before diving into UX/UI, Fridge analyzed the site’s analytics to understand the user journey and desired path. The resulting updated homepage features a rotating hero image for each type of hot sauce, accompanied by appetizing food photography. Fridge included new calls-to-action to improve navigation between sections. Additionally, new sections can now be effortlessly updated to reflect seasonal content. The updated homepage was a success, with the average time on page increasing 62% year over year and the bounce rate decreasing 6% period over period.
The new homepage now provides an engaging user experience aligned with the brand.

In 2022, media outlets reported a nationwide shortage of sriracha sauce – a Thai sauce made of chili peppers. TABASCO® Brand enlisted Fridge to create SrirachaShortage.com – directing consumers to utilize the TABASCO® Brand product finder on the site to source TABASCO® Brand Sriracha Sauce available near them! This year, the website’s traffic increased after being featured in an article about sriracha by the New York Times.
