Les Trois Petits Cochons

Three Little Pigs get a new look
Based out of Brooklyn, New York, Les Trois Petits Cochons (Three Little Pigs) is a gourmet food company that has produced an entire line of all-natural pâtés and charcuterie since 1975.
The Challenge
Les Trois Petits Cochons' packaging lacked unity and did not effectively communicate the brand personality or story.
The Resolution
Fridge embraced the company's history by focusing on its founder, a classically trained chef whose artisanal principles continue to guide it. The revived brand story translated to the redesign of their 80+ product labels, website, distributor collateral and trade show presence. The classic, hand-drawn Three Little Pigs logo remained, but is now complemented by warm red and cream colors. The label design was also flipped to allow for a larger display panel that was more cost effective to produce and easier for the customer to identify. Fridge also selected a font that was compatible with both English and French terminology.
The Results
Les Trois Petits Cochons launched its new packaging at the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade’s Fancy Food Show in San Francisco for the event’s approximately 17,000 attendees. Since Fridge’s redesign, sales have increased for the company and Les Trois Petits Cochons is experiencing increased shelf placement in retail locations across the nation.
