Dunkin’ Donuts made it clear in their slogan, “American runs on Dunkin’” that they didn’t intend for you to hang around. Get your morning coffee, get your donut and get out of here. That’s about to change. A complete interior make-over is coming to a Dunkin’ Donuts near you. Soft seating, flat panel TVs, free wi-fi and music that will make you want to hang around in the afternoon or evening are all part of the plan to keep you coming back. It seems to be working. A newly remodeled DD in Chicago saw average lunch customer counts go from 15 to 50. What does your store decor say to your customers? Stay, eat and play or get up and go?
