This year, two of our favorite New Orleans brands partnered with the 610 Stompers, the city’s one and only all-male dance crew, to promote the city’s favorite shot and beer combination – The 610. With Sazerac Rye Whiskey and Abita Beer as sponsors of the 610 Stompers, it was an ideal opportunity to cross-promote the local brands for on-premise consumption.
The campaign consisted of both point of sale materials and a social media promotion. To increase awareness across the New Orleans metropolitan area, post engagement advertisements were deployed to the target demographic on both Facebook and Instagram. For the ads, Fridge utilized creative videos and engaging photography featuring the 610 Stompers dancing and enjoying the signature shot and beer combination. The social campaign was able to generate more than 220,000 post engagements with a result rate of more than 21%.
