Internet grocery services have surfaced and failed many times. But now the biggest name in internet shopping is jumping into the game. Amazon.com’s online grocery business, called AmazonFresh, has been up and running in Seattle for five years. It’s coming soon to San Francisco, Los Angeles and 20 other cities next year. Amazon uses their own trucks for the service, rather than FedEx or UPS, because it includes fresh produce and items that require refrigeration. How will internet grocery shopping change your marketing strategies? How do you have shelf presence when there’s no shelf? Once again, Amazon is re-inventing how we shop.
